Bald and Bold: Five hairless heroes

25 September 2019
1-minute read

When it comes to our hair, it’s all about owning it. Here are five hairless heroes that made it work for them in a big way.

Larry David

Head writer and executive producer of one of the most successful shows in history, isn’t a bad job title. Larry David is possibly the boldest bald men of them all. When the creator of Seinfeld has been questioned on the state of his hair before, it’s clear he wasn’t phased, stating that ‘women love a self-confident bald man’.

Paul O’Connell

The best Irish second row of all time and one of the finest sportsman the country has ever produced, Paul O’Connell was a force to be reckoned with. O’Connell won the European Cup twice with Munster and the Six Nations three times with Ireland. Originally a fiery redhead, the Irish rugby player naturally transitioned into a bold bald look.

Patrick Stewart

Sir Patrick Stewart is a legend of the stage and screen. He started his career in the Royal Shakespeare Company but has since become a sci-fi icon for his roles in Star Trek and the X-Men. This accomplished actor was once skeptical that producers wouldn’t cast a ‘grand, deep-voiced, bald English guy’ in movies. Luckily for us, he was wrong.

Michael Jordan

Michael Jordan is probably the greatest basketball player of all time and definitely the most marketed athlete of his generation. You may not think of ‘His Airness’ as being bald but that’s because he’s almost always had a clean-shaven head. His smooth head certainly hasn’t affected his confidence.

Pep Guardiola

Pep Guardiola is widely considered to be one of the greatest football managers of all time. He holds the record for the most consecutive wins in the Premier League, La Liga and Bundesliga, not to mention his playing career as part of Cruyff’s Barcelona dream team. This footballing legend is also seen as a worldwide style icon – skin-tight trim and all.

Hair is an important issue for many men but these hairless heroes prove that it’s all about having the confidence to rock your own look. We welcome every man to regain control with our Sons treatment but remember that whatever your hair situation is, the most important thing is owning it.
