Minoxidil works by increasing the level of nutrients that can reach your hair, which encourages growth.

Here’s the science behind it:

Minoxidil is an over-the-counter topical treatment that can slow and potentially stop hair loss at the crown of the head. It works by improving the microenvironment for hair growth. Minoxidil increases blood flow and oxygen to the vessels which reactivates and revitalises shrunken hair follicles. This helps to increase the size and density of the hair follicle, eventually leading to new hair growth.

Minoxidil forms part of our Sons treatment. See how it can work for you with a Sons consultation.
