Our Beard Booster contains many ingredients that are nourishing for your skin and hair. The active ingredient is Minoxidil, which increases blood flow to hair follicles and can help to revitalise growth and increase facial hair thickness.
Each monthly package contains:

• 30 x 1g dosage of Minoxidil cream

While it takes a few months to see visible signs of beard growth, our Minoxidil cream gets to work immediately on your beard. For most men, Beard Booster will usually take around one to three months to see any concrete signs of improvement in your beard. Beyond the four-month mark, your beard should grow significantly as the thicker hairs take over patches. As with any medication, each person reacts differently/ However, with a consistent routine, the results could potentially lead to a denser, thicker beard.

What is an "unlicensed" medicine?
An unlicensed medicine can be defined in a number of ways:
- A medicine that is formulated in an alternative version to the licensed medicine (e.g. a oral medication made into a topical liquid formulation, or a medication made in a different strength to the original licensed version).
- A medicine that has no licence at all.
- A medicine that has a licence in other countries, but not the UK.

Our Beard Cream is an unlicensed treatment that contains 3% minoxidil which is manufactured by a fully regulated and MHRA manufacturing site. 5% topical minoxidil is licensed for the treatment of male hair loss. Our unique formulation of 3% Minoxidil is a lower dose and in a different formulation that the licensed 5% Medcine, this is why it is classified as an “unlicensed” medicine

The use of minoxidil for beard growth is also off-label. Off-label medicines are ones that are used in a different way to that described in their licenses. Examples, of off-label use include:
• Using a medicine for a different condition to that stated in the license. This may happen because doctors have found that the medicine works very well for another condition (e.g. minoxidil is typically used to treat male pattern baldness, however it has also been found to be effective for promoting beard growth). Using the medicine in this way may be supported by expert groups, but the manufacturer of the medication has not extended its license.
• Using a medicine in an age group beyond the boundaries of the licensed range.
• Using a medicine at a higher or lower dose than stated in the license.
