When you create a treatment plan with us, you’re taking the first step in regaining control over your hair loss. We want every man that chooses Sons to see results and know what to expect - not just after your first purchase, but also in the long run. Here’s what to expect from our treatment moving forward.
3-6 months
The earliest stage can be the most frustrating for many men. The way that our medicated treatment plan works, you may notice no re-growth or even further hair loss in these early stages. However, don’t fret - hair loss treatment is not a quick fix and it’s important to remain patient and diligent with your plan. Remember - our treatments are effective in 9 out of 10 men.
9 months
By this point, you should begin to notice that your hairline has stopped receding and you are retaining more hair - this might seem like a small victory but it’s a positive sign that your treatment is really working. Taking pictures of your hair every few months is a great way to recognise the changes it is making to your appearance.
12 months
Having used our treatment for a year, you will hopefully have noticed signs that your hair looks a little bit fuller. This is usually the point that men get in touch with us to let us know that our treatment is working for them. If your hair has shown little sign of improvement, please bear in mind that in some people the treatment will only maintain the hair you have rather than give you new hair. If you have concerns, please feel free to get in contact with us for further advice.
18 months
Improvements in your hair will continue into your second year of treatment. Around this time, you will normally have reached the milestone that marks the best condition your hair will look whilst using a treatment with us.
2 years
By the end of your second year, you will most likely see that the improvements in your hair have levelled off. Whilst your hair usually won’t continue to improve from this point onwards, it should remain in the same condition as long as you continue to use the treatment. Otherwise, DHT will slowly creep back in and hair loss will start again.
It is important to remember that there is no cure for hair loss - our Sons treatment is effective in pausing the balding process and helping you to maintain your hair. We understand that for some this isn’t enough but for those that continue their journey with us, we will be happy to support you every step of the way.
