We’ve got some exciting news to share: Sons is officially a B Corp!

What is B Corporation?
For those who might not know, B Corp stands for Certified B Corporation. It is a certification awarded to businesses which meet some of the highest standards of social and environmental performance, accountability, and transparency.
But it’s more than just a badge - it’s a commitment to doing business in a way that balances profit with purpose. The B Corp movement aims to redefine the role of business in society. By encouraging companies to focus not just on CEO bonuses or shareholder dividends, but on benefiting all stakeholders: employees, customers, investors, communities, and the planet. Their ambitious vision? Within a decade, make this approach the default for businesses worldwide.
After a long and rigorous process, we’re proud to say we’re joining the likes of Ben & Jerry’s and Patagonia, as part of a global community of businesses working towards this shared vision.
Why this matters to us
Sons has been helping men with their hair loss since 2019, but we didn’t want to harm the planet in the process. Our mission has always been about more than selling products. We exist to help people take control of their health in a way that feels approachable, effective, and trustworthy. But we also know that being a responsible company means looking at the bigger picture – how we treat our customers, our team, our suppliers, and the planet.
Becoming a B Corp doesn’t mean we’ve got it all figured out. It means we’ve made a strong start, but this is an ongoing process that requires continual improvement.
The journey
Becoming a B Corp wasn’t quick or easy – and that’s the way it should be. The assessment digs deep into every aspect of how a business operates. From our packaging to how we look after our employees, no detail is overlooked.
Not only are we striving for net zero hair loss for our customers but also net zero carbon emissions. Sons supports projects that offset our carbon footprint through ClimatePartner, which means our products are now carbon neutral. This organisation does great work planting trees in Germany, the UK, and Ireland to help offset CO2 emissions. We also conduct life cycle assessments of our products to ensure we are minimising waste and resource consumption.
We are also proud to partner with CALM (Campaign Against Living Miserably). In July 2025, several Sons employees even ran a 10k to raise funds for the cause. Plus, a percentage of every sale is donated directly to the charity.
What’s next?
Becoming a B Corp is a milestone, not the finish line. We’re excited about what comes next: setting higher goals for sustainability, finding new ways to support our community, and continuing to grow responsibly.
