New Season, New You: Spending Spring with your mates

18 March 2021
2-minute read

After a long winter of lockdowns, spring is a time for renewal, regeneration and potential. The pandemic isn’t over yet, but that doesn’t mean you and your mates can’t enjoy this new season. To help you get over the line, we’ve got together some top ideas on spending spring with your mates, all while staying social distanced.

Workout plan

You don’t need us to tell you how much exercise can change your life, especially in lockdown. But sticking by a solo workout plan isn’t always the most fun way to exercise. We’d suggest getting your mates to set up a similar plan and working out alongside you online. The extra encouragement can make all the difference when your exercising, while also being the perfect way to spend quality time with your mates.

Walks

Socially distanced walks have been part and parcel of modern life for about a year now. As the trees start to bud and the days get warmer, getting outside is always a joy in springtime. Spending that time with your mates is a great way to socialise while staying socially distanced. Whether it’s a hidden wood or a secret river walk, we’d suggest venturing out to somewhere you haven’t explored before to make it that bit more adventurous.

Phone a friend

After a year of lockdowns, it’s been a challenge to keep in contact with every friend. Everyone has a mate they haven’t talked to in a few months, so grab the phone, give them a ring and start a conversation. Spring is the perfect time to start rekindling your connections with old friends, so spend some of the new season getting in contact with those mates you’ve been missing.

Organise your summer plans

One thing’s for sure - the future is looking much brighter this spring than it was in 2020. We’d suggest using spring as the last preparation for summer - set up a video call with you and your mates and start thinking about your plans. While you may not end up lying on a beach in Ibiza or watching your favourite band at Glastonbury, you can still start preparing for a UK staycation with your mates. Book a campervan, grab some beers and head out for one of the many beautiful coastal spots around the country.

Spring is all about restoration and so is Sons. Our proven treatment plans give you the opportunity to reshape your appearance all in an accessible and cost-effective way. After all, a new season means a new you.
